You know, Arkansas isn't really as lovely as commercials says it is. Just trees and leaves and trees and leaves and trees. Its just really lonely. Some may like living in the country but not me. I want to live with people in a town. Being alone in the country for 6 years really takes it's toll on your social life. If I couldn't die from a tick bite I would go walking through the forest in our back yard, ride my boyfriends horses with him in the Spring, Summer, and Fall, go out back and draw the animals and everything around them. Walking anytime of the year is out of the question because of the dogs roaming up and down the gravel roads. All in all, instead of "majestic and beautiful", Arkansas is "menacing and dangerous." Also, the local saying really screws up the fun; "When you don't like the weather in Arkansas, wait five minutes."
It is supposed to sleet tonight then warm up during the day then snow Sunday night through Monday morning.
Also, today was a make up day for the semester exams so nobody was counting absences. Therefore, I stayed in the school library all day. Hayden had to take a make up test for Fifth period and after he finished it he spent the rest of the day with me in the library. Our friend EBay was there and he brought his guitar so we had fun making odd songs. Every now and then he would go away for a little while Hayden and I cuddled on the loveseat Mrs. Meyers (the librarian) put in there. It was a great day of relaxation and peace. I hope that more days like this will come before Hayden graduates and leaves for Canada (if the college he applied for accepts him). I know it is terrible of me but I really hope they deny him. At the same time I want him to be accepted so he could follow his dream. If I could have it my way, I would want him to at least wait for me to graduate so I could go to Canada with him. As he said yesterday to one of the girls in the library "Your twenties are your wild years. You should live them up." Personally, I think it is best. A well credited college will more likely accept a twenty-something year old rather than a eighteen year old. He only plans to stay a year there but then go straight to Hollywood to begin his career. Now back on what he said yesterday, who agrees with me that he is contradicting himself???
